Demo on 27 February 2011 by artists Anatoli Soloviev and Valery Garaskievich

Mr. Soloviev  is a member of the Russian Union of Artists since 1985 and has been a teacher of arts at the Serov School of Arts in Moscow since 2006. His style is principally figurative and since 1978, he has exhibited extensively in Russia, Germany, France, Italy.
Mr.Geraskeivich is an  eminent artist from Russia and has been teaching drawing, painting and composition at Serov School of Arts since 1969 and has been the Principal of the school for the last 10 years. He has held exhibitions in Russia, Poland, France, Belgium and erstwhile Yugoslavia.

Geraskeivich used Oil colour for his painting whereas Soloviev used both acrylic and oil. The artists represented two different styles of work.

Vesna opens at Vernissage

'VESNA'  26 FEBRUARY - 13 MARCH 2011
VERNISSAGE ART GALLERY. 11AM -7PM

Vesna (Russian for Spring) an exhibition of paintings by 12 Russian Artists  gets underway at Vernissage.
The artists on display includes eminent artists like Anatoly Soloviev, Valery Gereskievich and Mansur Sattarov.

Councillor from Panampilly nagar Ms. Prema Padmanabhan inaugurated the function on 26 February 2011. Mr. Fyodor Rossovski, Director, Russian Centre for Science and Culture, New Delhi and Mr. Ratheesh Nair, Director, Russian Cultural Centre, Trivandrum were also present at the function.
